In May 2026, BLAZING POWER, the UPS brand of Shenzhen Tafeng Technology Co., Ltd., supplied a 60 kVA low-frequency UPS system for a hospital CT scanner project in Mexico.
The power protection solution includes a three-phase online UPS and an external battery system consisting of 32 × 12 V 100 Ah lead-acid batteries.
The system was configured for the hospital's CT power protection application.
| Parameter | Project configuration |
|---|---|
| UPS type | Low-frequency online UPS |
| Rated capacity | 60 kVA |
| Output power factor | 0.8 |
| Nominal battery voltage | 384 VDC |
| Battery configuration | 32 × 12 V 100 Ah |
| Application | Hospital CT scanner |
The UPS is designed to provide regulated AC power and battery backup during mains interruptions. Its actual backup duration depends on the CT scanner's electrical load and battery discharge conditions.
The project involved coordination between the customer's engineering team and BLAZING POWER's remote technical support team.
The supplied system forms part of the hospital's CT power protection arrangement. Final operating performance depends on the installed equipment requirements and site electrical conditions.
The Mexico project adds to BLAZING POWER's experience supplying UPS equipment for medical imaging applications in Latin America.
