BLAZING POWER W-20KL is rated 20 kVA / 16 kW, with three-phase input and output and a built-in output isolation transformer. It is a candidate for production support equipment and centralized control loads that need UPS-backed operation. The battery set is external, so the required autonomy is agreed during system design.
A 16 kW limit for real project loads
Production equipment rarely draws the same power throughout a cycle. Before specifying this UPS, compare normal running kW with startup and other short peaks; determine which equipment will run on battery and which can be shed.
The UPS accepts 380, 400 or 415 V nominal three-phase supply. Main and bypass voltages must both be checked because their permitted input ranges are not identical.
Loads commonly considered for the W-20KL
For a production cell, write the backup load schedule first. It prevents the UPS quotation from accidentally including nonessential heating, compressors or other high-inrush equipment.
Battery configuration
The W-20KL uses an external VRLA battery bank. The nominal system is 384 VDC with 32 × 12 V batteries. The battery quantity can be configured from 29 to 32 batteries, corresponding to 348 / 360 / 372 / 384 VDC.
Charging voltage is adjustable from 395–435 VDC. The manufacturer lists charging-current values of up to 40 A and 5 A at full UPS load. Available charging current depends on UPS loading and the supplied charger configuration. Battery Ah capacity should be selected based on the connected load and required backup time.

Installation considerations
The 20 kVA cabinet is specified at 145 kg, without the external battery installation. Allow for moving and servicing the cabinet, and plan a separate protected DC route to the batteries.
Coordinate the input and bypass breakers with the upstream panels. Check the site's measured minimum voltage and the proposed generator supply, if present, before commissioning.
